He's Behind You on Saltmarsh Pier

It is the last night of the season on Saltmarsh Pier, September 1954. At half past nine Professor Alfie Mudge gave his final Punch and Judy show to the Mayor and a front row of orphans. When he went round the back to pack up his puppets, he found Desmond Pryce, owner of the pier, strangled among the hampers. Three people on the pier had reason to want him gone.
